The Gifts Ministry is made up of three members and a pastor. Our Ministry is responsible for the ongoing process of helping each other individually and collectively to accomplish the tasks, which God is calling us to – in the church, in the community and in the world.
We work with the other Ministries to encourage members of the congregation to share their time and talents in leadership positions at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church. From time to time we will check in with the people serving on these Ministries to see how things are going. We also are an information resource for other committees as they seek help for various tasks in their areas.
When needed we provide education, development opportunities and support for those serving in these various capacities within the church. They will ensure that all Ministry responsibilities and role descriptions continue to accurately reflect the requirements of the church programs.
This Ministry will continue to encourage an environment where gifts and talents are freely shared in the congregation as well as outside. The Gifts Ministry Leader also sits on Leadership Council.
